As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and happiness of our clients' dogs while providing them with the exercise and socialization they need. The ideal candidate will have experience with various dog breeds and possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners.
Duties

Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Manage multiple dogs at once while maintaining control and supervision.

Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior.

Monitor the health and behavior of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner.

Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment.

Offer additional services such as pet sitting or grooming when required.

Maintain regular communication with pet owners regarding their dog's activity and behavior.
Skills

Proficient in dog handling techniques, ensuring safe interactions with various breeds.

Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as carrying supplies or assisting larger dogs.

Experience in pet sitting, providing care and companionship when owners are away.

Knowledge of pet grooming practices to keep dogs looking their best.

Familiarity with kennel operations and understanding of proper pet care routines.

Background in veterinary care or as a veterinary technician is a plus.
